The Revista Colombiana de Cancerología is an official publication of the National Cancer Institute of Colombia (NCI). The Revista is published quarterly with the aim of broadening and disseminating knowledge in the field of oncology.

The Revista publishes articles on: molecular carcinogenic mechanisms and treatment responses; cancer epidemiology; clinical features and treatment of neoplastic disease and public health campaigns to control cancer.

1. Author´s guarantees and liabilities. Author guarantees that texts, including all graphic work, designs or illustrations (hereafter, generically referred to as, "the Work") submitted to the Revista Colombiana de Cancerología for publication are original, unpublished and of his/her own authorship, and that the same have not been previously published or simultaneously submitted to any other publisher for publication. Additionally, author guarantees that he/she has been responsible for obtaining, and possesses, all rights to exploit Work, and that under no circumstances said rights infringe upon those of third parties, and that in the case that exploitation of said rights involves third party´ rights, the author has obtained corresponding authorization for exploitation and authorization for exploitation through the Elsevier Editorial System, S.L.
   
   Furthermore, author guarantees that Work submitted fully complies with pertinent regulations on protection of personal data. Specifically, the guarantee that previous written authorization and consent has been granted by patient or patient´s family for publication, when said patients are identified in Work or when published information makes them easily identifiable.


2. Granting of exploitation rights. Author grants to the Revista Colombiana de Cancerología exclusive exploitation rights, and the right to grant said rights to third parties, which may be derived from Work selected for publication by the Revista, as well as any product derived from Work, specifically, the rights to reproduction, distribution, public communication (including interactive availability) and transformation (including adaptation, modification and, if necessary, translation) for all modes of exploitation (including but not limited to: printed, digital, on-line, information backup or audiovisual formats, as well as any other formats, including for promotional or publicity purposes and/or for the creation of derived products), within worldwide territory and during the legal duration of rights set forth in the current Revised Law on Intellectual Property.
   
   Consequently, author may neither publish nor disseminate Works which have been selected for publication in the Revista Colombiana de Cancerología, neither partially nor totally, neither shall publication rights be granted to third parties without previous express mandatory written authorization on the part of the Revista Colombiana de Cancerología.
