The Journal of International Relations, Strategy and Security was created as there was a need in the University, to have a written medium to publish the investigative work of our teaching body and line up with the vision of the University to get beyond its borders with knowledge.

It was indexed in January, 2008 in category C and was reclassified in B in January, 2010; in addition, the Journal belongs to and is published in the following international bases: Redalyc, Latindex, Dialnet and Fuente Académica.

Objective:
The main objective of the Journal is to publish those articles having scientific investigation of reflection, note review and comments with a high level of academic quality that, additionally, be relevant to the international situation, security and defense, economic and social, at national and international levels.

Topics:
The Journal publishes articles and essays that belong to the fields of international relations, political studies, security and defense, as well as those with an interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary relationship.

Readers:
The Journal is directed to investigators, educational staff, students, professionals, experts, universities, international organizations, makers of politics and to all those people interested in the subjects of international relations, strategy, security and defense.

Regular Recurrence: biannual

Its abbreviated title is rev.relac.int.estrateg.segur., and it should be used in bibliographies, footnotes, references and bibliographic strips.
