The journal is a publication biannual done by the Asociación Colombiana de Investigadores Urbano Regionales (ACIUR) together with the Centro de Estudios Políticos e Internacionales of the faculties of Political Sciences and Government, and International Relations of Universidad del Rosario through their program of Gestión y Desarrollo Urbanos Ekística. Territorios is directed towards researchers and scientists of social sciences in general that are interested on regional and urban matters.

The articles published in Territorios are indexed or summarized by:
