Theologica Xaveriana is the organ of the Faculty of Theology, Pontificia Universidad Javeriana, Bogotá campus, Colombia. It has been uninterruptedly published since its first issue, which was released in 1951. The Journal is a six-monthly publication. It presents reflection and researching papers carried out by the Faculty staff and by other interested parties, articles that render account for the current theological task.

Its abbreviated title is Theol. Xave., and it should be used in bibliographies, footnotes, references and bibliographic strips.

The articles published in Theologica Xaveriana are indexed or summarized by:

Journal's policy regarding article reproduction: The authors are fully responsible for the contents of their articles. Texts can be totally or partially reproduced with source citation, previously requesting permission to the journal's editor.

Once the article has been approved, the author must send to the Office of Publications an authorization agreeing with the publication of the article in the Theologica Xaveriana journal, using the established authorization form (see form) expressly stating that the article has not been simultaneously submitted to other journals. However, it assumes the author's authorization for the article's diffusion, not only in printing but also in electronic version, that is, in web pages as well as in national and international bibliographic databases.

The author will receive three (3) courtesy copies of the journal issue in which the article is published.
