The Revista Vniversitas, is a journal of the Facultad de Ciencias Jurídicas de la Pontificia Universidad Javeriana. Publishing and presenting articles in the field of law prioritizing those resulting from individual research or research working teams with multidisciplinary orientation or not aimed at fostering research and at divulging the results of legal and sociological knowledge production. It is a plural journal open to debate and to the analysis of modern problems of juridical science.

Its abbreviated title is Vniversitas, and it should be used in bibliographies, footnotes, references and bibliographic strips.

Journal (law review) areas of interest: Submissions in all the areas of the law are welcomed. Articles are accepted in Spanish or in any other languages. It is expected that authors observe publication guidelines before submitting contributions. Once they have been received they are subject to a peer review process where both authors and peers are anonymous.

Journal history: The first issue was published in 1951 as the institutional journal of the Facultad de Ciencias Jurídicas of Pontificia Universidad Javeriana until 2002 in which it was certified ("indexación").

On several occasions it has been awarded the Concurso José Ignacio de Márquez Prize on Economic Law organized by Corporación José Ignacio de Márquez; the last time it was awarded such prized was in 2009.

Journal periodicity: Every semester: it is published in January and July of each year.

Pontificia Universidad Javeriana has the rights to use the material. "Moral" rights are held by authors. The contents of articles is the exclusive responsibility of authors. Texts may be wholly or partially reproduced by including the proper attributions. Vniversitas guarantees that it can certify articles published therein as long as proper attributions are made.
