The first case of symphysomely on the antennae of Cryptops Leach, 1815 (Chilopoda: Scolopendromorpha: Cryptopidae) from the Concepción (Chile) is reported. The right antenna of the specimen has a lower number of antennomeres, which are also larger than the ones from the left antenna. We discuss the possible factors affecting the appearance of this occurrence.

Reportamos un nuevo caso de sinfisomelia en las antenas de Cryptops Leach, 1815 (Chilopoda: Scolopendromorpha: Cryptopidae) en la localidad de Concepción, Chile. El ejemplar presenta un menor número de antenómeros en su antena derecha, así como un mayor tamaño de estos, duplicando la dimensión respecto de su homólogo derecho. Se discuten los posibles factores que estén afectando la aparición de dichas anomalías.
