^les^aEste caso clínico quiere dar a conocer el uso combinado de intubación oro traqueal estándar e introducción de un tubo en la tráquea abierta, por debajo de la zona de resección para mantener la ventilación en paciente con lesión traqueal baja. De igual manera, pretende resaltar la gran ventaja existente cuando hay una comunicación estrecha entre los equipos de cirugía y anestesia, para superar las limitaciones técnicas de la ventilación mecánica durante el peri operatorio.^len^aThis clinical case wants to present the combined use of standard tracheal intubation and introduction of a tube into the opened trachea below the zone of resection to maintain the ventilation in patient with low tracheal injury. Likely, it is emphasized the big advantage of keeping a close communication between the surgery and anesthesia equipments to overcome the technical limitations of the mechanical ventilation during the perioperative period.
