CANCINO, Christian A; CORONADO, Freddy    FARIAS, Antonio. Background and Results of Dynamic Enterprises in Chile: Five Success Cases. []. , 22, 43, pp.19-32. ISSN 0121-5051.

Different economies seek to boost the development of dynamic enterprises because of their greater effect on employment, economic growth and well-being. In Latin America, not much study has been made of this type of company. This work reports on the existence of five cases of dynamic enterprises in Chile and describes the factors that could explain their strategy of rapid growth. All of the companies analyzed have had growth rates above 20% during their first 5 years of existence and are characterized by the connection between their successful performance with previous experience and knowledge on the part of their founders, networks of contacts that they have generated and support from government programs aimed at promoting businesses. Regarding this last aspect, the authors recommend that government programs provide intelligent capital, in other words, capital that mixes economic resources with technical advice, training and permanent follow-up. The provision of intelligent capital is a key aspect for boosting dynamic enterprises in developing economies.
