BACHILLER, Patricia    BACHILLER, Alfredo. A Teaching Experience in Business Management and Administration: an Empirical Analysis With Finance Students. []. , 25, 55, pp.185-194. ISSN 0121-5051.  https://doi.org/10.15446/innovar.v25n55.47233.

The construction of the European Higher Education Area affects curricular aspects and teacher planning, as well as topics related to the learning conditions in learning centers and universities and the different university cultures established. We are witnessing a profound and complex change that requires new approaches to teaching. The following case consists in the implementation of an innovative teaching experience in the area of Finance, in order to improve the students' learning processes. The approach has been applied to students in the last course of the Business Management and Administration program at Zaragoza University (Spain), called The Stock Market and Portfolio Management. The general aim of this paper is to assess whether the teaching innovation (practical) helps to consolidate the knowledge acquired in theory master classes thanks to simulation-based learning with the use of ICTs. In this practice, we also intend to develop the students' social skills given that they must be able to work in groups and make consensual decisions. The results show that the teaching innovation has contributed positively to student learning, improving autonomy and the acquisition of skills directly related to a career in the field of finance. It has also helped students develop skills to help them work in groups successfully.
