GATICA NEIRA, Francisco. EMPIRICAL REVIEW OF THE ENDOGENOUS DEVELOPMENT MODEL BASED ON BUSINESS INNOVATION IN CHILE. []. , 30, 77, pp.137-152.   20--2020. ISSN 0121-5051.  https://doi.org/10.15446/innovar.v30n77.87454.

This work aims to identify to what extent the forces of endogenous development act synergistically within a territory. The paper starts with a conceptual review emphasizing the methodological aspects for the analytical implementation of endogenous development and the factors that can accelerate or delay its deployment. In the second part, with data from the National Survey of Innovation in Companies, applied to 5,876 organizations, plus the data of Regional Decision Public Investment and the Urban Life Quality Index, two binary logistic regression models are presented in order to identify the factors framed in the forces of endogenous development that explain the probability of future and past innovation at the company level. The main conclusions reinforce the importance of time dimension for identifying the impacts of each factor and, in parallel, high-light how relevant is the level of efficiency of the actors involved in the endogenous development model.

: Business innovation; endogenous development; regional development policies; synergistic territory.
