DUENAS-OCAMPO, Sebastián; PERDOMO-ORTIZ, Jesús    CASTANO, Lida Esperanza Villa. THE DIVISION BETWEEN ORGANIZATIONAL SUSTAINABILITY AND SUSTAINABLE DEVELOPMENT: A REFLECTION ON EMERGING TOOLS TO REDUCE THE GAP. []. , 31, 80, pp.113-128.   02--2021. Management literature has revealed the existing gap between the concepts of organizational sustainability (micro-dimension) and eco-logical sustainability or sustainable development (macro-dimension) in the business world. Hence, this article draws attention to the identified breach, showing some of the challenges that this separation establishes for organizations. It is argued that intersectoral alliances, social innovation, and hybrid businesses are emerging organizational forms based on collaboration that could contribute to bridging the gap. The debate around the distance between shared-value sustainability approaches (inside-out) and sustainability perspectives focused on the common good (outside-in) is represented through emerging organizational forms in the Colombian context, with a particular emphasis on organizations with a direct impact on peacebuilding.

: Intersectoral alliances; sustainable development; social in-novation; hybrid businesses; organizational sustainability.
