AYALA-ARROYO, Karen Lizeth; RIVAS-TOVAR, Luis Arturo    CARDENAS-TAPIA, Magali. Textile Networks and Collaboration Patterns in SMES in México. []. , 25, 44, e4.   06--2024. ISSN 0124-4639.  https://doi.org/10.12804/revistas.urosario.edu.co/empresa/a.12379.

The objective of the research was to analyze the cooperation patterns in textile business networks in Acolman, Mexico. The method used was the analysis of Complex Networks through the structural centrality variables: nodal degree, closeness and intermediation, and eigenvector. The results indicate that: H1) companies prefer to cooperate with known people instead of relatives, H2) the cooperation is focused only on operations, internal logistics and external logistics chain value links, and H3) the triple helix model is not articulated and no company cooperates with the government or academic institutions. The findings supporting H1 are consistent with other research done in Mexico but contradict the strong cooperative ties between relatives observed in Italian companies. The main research limitation was that several companies refused to participate due to mistrust to share their cooperation networks.
