ZULUAGA-JARAMILLO, Andrés Felipe    ZULUAGA-VANEGAS, Santiago de Jesús. Functions of Ideology in Constitutional Hermeneutics. A Look from Paul Ricoeur’s Philosophy. []. , 17, 33, pp.255-275. ISSN 1692-2530.  https://doi.org/10.22395/ojum.v17n33a11.

This paper aims to clarify the role of ideology in constitutional hermeneutics based on Paul Ricoeur’s philosophy. Based on the French philosopher, it can be understood that ideology has three different levels which lead to three functions, namely: integration, legitimation and distortion, which, as will be seen, can be taken to the level of the interpretation of the Constitution. In order to show these uses of ideology in constitutional hermeneutics, various aspects of it will be described, and then, on a philosophical hermeneutical level, the way in which ideology works in the inter pretation of the Constitution will be proposed.
