Abstract

ANDRADE, Larry  and  BEDACARRATX, Valeria. The construction of the object of study in the work of Hugo Zemelman: introductory notes. Folios [online]. 2013, n.38, pp.15-34. ISSN 0123-4870.

This article briefly deals with the epistemological and methodological production of Hugo Zemelman, a Chilean sociologist based in Mexico. It will review the central categories of a production of several decades and writings, ensuring that the important time which runs from the opening of the investigation to the close is highlighted, a duration in which the construction of the object of study is played with and the generation of problematic fields as a multiplicity of possible problems to choose from.
