Abstract

The present article exposes research whose main objective was to characterize the writing process of the preliminary research project of three master's students, in terms of their expectations and previous knowledge, the advances they had in the writing, the evaluation they made of the pedagogical supports received and the aspects related to their writing experience. The research had a qualitative approach and a type of descriptive study and was developed, mainly, through structured interviews. The main findings show that students consider explicit support for writing is necessary for the preparation process of the preliminary project and relate them positively to the advances they had in writing. Ontheotherhand.it was found that the emotions derived from the writing process and the factors that influence it are mainly negative.
