RUBIO GUERRERO, Germán; PARRA ALVIZ, Mercedes and CATICA BARBOSA, José Rodrigo. Entrepreneurs resulting from huge self effort: Chucula la Abuela entrepreneurial case study. Rev. esc.adm.neg [online]. 2018, n.84, pp.189-207. ISSN 0120-8160. https://doi.org/10.21158/01208160.n84.2018.1924.
This research paper shows an entrepreneurial case study based on Abraham and Manuel Jose Paredes Ducuara's experience with the small company called Chucula la Abuela which produces and trades farming chocolate made of corn, quinoa seed, oat, sesame seed, cacao, peanut, cloves and cinnamon in the city of lbague, Tolima, Colombia. It is based on a descriptive study resulting from surveying which determines the most relevant aspects involved in an entrepreneurial adventure experienced by Abraham and Manuel. These findings conclude that entrepreneurial features such as passion, future vision, persistence, creativity and innovation really contribute to make a dream come true as products are shown and sold in supermarket and shop aisles.
