Abstract
GENOUD, MARÍA ANDREA; BROVEGLIO, GERARDO and PICASSO, EMILIO. The values of the work culture in Autonomy City of Buenos Aires (CABA) and Greater Buenos Aires (GBA) (Argentina). estud.gerenc. [online]. 2012, vol.28, n.123, pp.65-84. ISSN 0123-5923.
The work motivations of 400 Argentinean workers from different hierarchical levels, belonging to manufacturing companies and service providers, reveals that the general attitude towards work is central, but fluctuates between the degree of relevance and the degree of overload. The statistical analysis techniques discriminate between what is reported and what is real, and show that the first priority is salary, followed by security, opportunities for advancement, having interesting work, and working with people. Social motivations and prestige are of a lesser priority. The information is segmented by age, gender, education, activity, seniority, and company size. The 2011-2012 research phase summarizes methodological triangulation, after administering a questionnaire via Internet panel based on stratified sampling and controlled quota sampling.
