Abstract

The objective of this article is to determine whether women managers are more willing to support flexibility and diversity policies than men. Diversity and flexibility variables were analyzed in a group of 57 business directors, and ANOVA statistical tests were applied. Results demonstrate that the service and commerce small and medium business sector managed by women tend to implement diversity and labor flexibility policies related to work schedule and flexible work as part of their corporate social responsibility. On the contrary, the same type of business managed by men, do not tend to implement diversity and labor flexibility policies.
