Abstract

FORERO ALVAREZ, Ronald; TRIANA PERDOMO, Liliana Andrea; JIMENEZ CUADROS, Laura Katherin  and  GUTIERREZ SANCHEZ, Tatiana Sophia. Learning and Knowledge Technologies (LKT) in the Classical Languages Classroom: Implementation and Results at the University of La Sabana. Forma. func. [online]. 2022, vol.35, n.2, e92486.  Epub May 18, 2022. ISSN 0120-338X.  https://doi.org/10.15446/fyf.v35n2.92486.

This paper exposes the results of the implementation of LKT in the classical language courses of the University of La Sabana. The incorporation of LKT is due to the need for philosophy students to learn Greek and Latin in a more efficient, entertaining, and motivating way. The LKT were chosen based on the results of the action research, a methodology that allows the teacher to reflect on their pedagogical work and transform it, taking into account the difficulties and opinions of the students. Thanks to the careful selection of LKT, a significant improvement has been noted both in academic performance and in the classroom environment.

Keywords : Learning and Knowledge Technologies (LKT); action research; eclectic approach; flipped classroom; adaptive learning; classical Greek; Latin.
