Abstract
DA SILVA FELIX, Ynes and MACIEL DE ALMEIDA AQUINO, João Victor. Labor Relations within the Scope of the Bioceanic Corridor with a Focus on Brazil. Prolegómenos [online]. 2023, vol.26, n.52, pp.131-144. Epub Dec 15, 2023. ISSN 0121-182X. https://doi.org/10.18359/prole.6240.
This work aims to analyze the initial impacts on labor related to the implementation ofthe Bioceanic Corridor. This is a prominent logistics infrastructure project that will have economic and, consequently, social effects in a complex environment influenced by multiple factors. The route of this project will traverse regions in Brazil, Paraguay, Argentina, and Chile. A legal analysis centered on the Brazilian geographic space was conducted, identifying key aspects related to labor development and impact, and linking them to the means that can be used for the protection of labor relations. To achieve this objective, the hypothetical-deductive method was employed, involving the analysis of diverse bibliographic material as well as consultations of technical productions and national and international regulations. As a result, the need to establish international standards, primarily based on human rights, was identified to enable an appropriate response capable of mitigating negative impacts on labor matters.
