Abstract

The present document displays the results of the foundation phase of a research that seeks to explore the narratives constructed around the experience of teachers in the city of Bogotá. The researcher considers that he cannot tackle this problem without confronting himself as an object of investigation. Thus, a self-ethnographic process of investigation was carried out: through the writing and analysis of different personal stories, the author tested reasons and conceptual elements that the investigation around public accountancy teachers should follow, from a perspective that rescues the subjectivity of social sciences. The document closes with the acknowledgement of boundaries in narrative methods and a restoration of their uses throught the author's learning on the self-ethnographic experience.
