Abstract

PEREIRA OCAMPO, XAN NICANOR. The concept of globality in the historiographical approach of History under Debate. memorias [online]. 2018, n.35, pp.7-32. ISSN 1794-8886.  https://doi.org/10.14482/memor.35.10043.

Over the last few years, many changes have been perceived within the study of history based on the questioning and crisis of the so-called "historiographic revolutions of the 20th century" and the return to forms of positivism. Throughout this article, we will explain one of the approaches for combatting the process of fragmentation that characterizes a good part of the current work in our profession. To achieve this, it presents the variable conceptions of "global" included in the approaches of the international thematic network History under Debate.

Keywords : global; historiography; History under Debate; mixed history; paradigm.
