Abstract
TONKONOFF, Sergio. Thinking in Lines, Thinking in Relations. The Infinitesimal Difference Paradigm. Prax. filos. [online]. 2022, n.55, pp.91-114. Epub Sep 26, 2022. ISSN 0120-4688. https://doi.org/10.25100/pfilosofica.v0i55.12021.
Schizo-analysis and micro-politics, libidinal economy, microphysics of power: such are the names that Deleuze and Guattari, Lyotard and Foucault assigned to their respective approaches to the socio-historical field and the subjectivity. In the present work we suggest that these strategies can be read in terms of a meta-theoretical approach where the concept of flow plays a fundamental role. We propose to reconstruct this concept and use it as a way of accessing the characteristic syntax of this approach or paradigm: the syntax of infinitesimal difference. We will see that the flow (or the line) constitutes a key concept to reject the traditional individual-society, nature-culture, politics-economy-society alternatives, and to produce a relational image of the social, the political and the subjective.
