Abstract
LOPEZ-VILLEGAS, Víctor Jaime et al. Kikuchi-Fujimoto disease in a patient with systemic lupus erythematosus and generalised lymphadenopathy. Case report. Rev.Colomb.Reumatol. [online]. 2018, vol.25, n.3, pp.216-220. ISSN 0121-8123. https://doi.org/10.1016/j.rcreu.2017.07.006.
Kikuchi-Fujimoto disease is a benign disorder that mainly affects young women, and is characterised by predominantly cervical lymphadenopathy associated with fever and leukopenia. Although of unknown aetiology, there is evidence that a viral infection or autoimmune disease can trigger the disease. An uncommon case in Colombia is presented of Kikuchi-Fujimoto disease in a patient with Systemic Lupus Erythematosus.
