Abstract

HEWITT RAMIREZ, Nohelia  and  BARRERO RIVERA, Floralba. The Integration of Knowledge: A Curriculum Proposal for Training In Research In Higher Education. Psychol. av. discip. [online]. 2012, vol.6, n.1, pp.137-145. ISSN 1900-2386.

This article makes a reflection about the training in research in higher education. It discusses the research and the achievement of a knowledge society as the major challenges of higher education. It is stated that a curriculum strategy by thematic and problematic clusters that emphasizes the integration of knowledge helps research training. The underlying pedagogical strategy is the integrating project consists of a research exercise that articulates the knowledge worked in an academic period and develops abilities and skills that allow the appropriation of the research work. In addition, promotes an understanding of the reality and the process of lifelong learning through which achieves the conceptual development, attitudinal and own procedural of research training. It is concluded that this strategy allows the search, organization and construction of the knowledge on the part of the student and implies, in turn, the update and reflection of the professor standing on its pedagogical practice that reproduces, and valid criticism to improve and promote better learning.
