Abstract

It identifies the relationship between bullying (including cyberbullying) and perceived social support in 675 Chilean students belonging to sixth primary grade to second medium. instruments were applied, the aggression among peers scale and perceived social support The evince that, first in assessing aggression between pairs show significant differences by grade, being higher in lower educational levels and on the other, account for a negative relationship between the variables, ie, when students are inserted into an environment of peer aggression there are lower perceived social support, regardless of the role that they makes, coinciding with previous research. The importance of encouraging strategies that reinforce social support is discussed to minimize the effects of aggression among students in educational settings and to integrate future preventive and intervention programs in the classroom.
