Abstract

HAQUIN, DOMINIQUE MANCHI; MELO-LETELIER, GISELLE  and  GODOY, ISABEL ARANDA. "In the Democratic Confidence of Asking": Analysis of a Collective Participation in a Research Event. Zona prox. [online]. 2020, n.33, pp.42-69.  Epub Oct 23, 2021. ISSN 2145-9444.  https://doi.org/10.14482/zp.33.370.115.

Educational inclusion invites us to think over the epistemologies to build bridges of meaning between researcher's actions and actions of the school communities. Especially when Chilean public schools have been vulnerated by policies based on neoliberal logics. This qualitative study focuses on a research dialogue after an ethnographic stage, designed in two stages: a presentation and a cycle of photographs and questions about everyday actions in schools.

Based on three events of Joint Analysis as instrumental cases, we analyze how different forms of interaction and meaning exchange favor participation among educational agents and researchers. From a sociosemiotic perspective we describe negotiation of meanings. Three types of exchange emerged from interpretation of photographs, and also exchanges that resist and at the same time allow more space for participation in the educational community.

Keywords : inclusion; educational community; participation.
