The objective of this research was to implement the mirror class, which allows for a better development of research competence in undergraduate students in Latin American universities, to be applied as a daily pedagogical strategy. The research is qualitative, with inductive process, with action research design, whose perspectives are technical - scientific, practical, and participatory. The technique of observing the phenomena was used, and information was collected through instruments such as an observation guide, a field diary, the rubric for the final sustentation, and video recordings, which allowed teachers to constantly reflect on their pedagogical work, to leave the traditional role, to significantly improve their educational practice, to seek innovation, ideal mechanisms and strategies that are useful for achieving research competence. The results contemplated made it possible to shape the academic learning strategy "Mirror Class", an active communication tool that breaks the barriers of traditional education and allows students and teachers from Latin American countries to interact, to measure the level of knowledge in research.
