Abstract

The Second Vatican Council had already confirmed that our world is in a new period of its history which is characterized for deep and rapid transformations. Because of that, the outlook presented by the Catholic Theology is the one of a vast pluralism and deep transformations, among which we can list: the crisis of metaphysics and the end of Neo-Scholasticism, the scientific and technological revolution, the change and the criticism made by the Nouvelle Théologie, and the change of paradigm from Greek into biblical. Therefore, it is the aim of the following paper to present a general outlook of the situation of theology in present day.
