Abstract
DONOS, Marcos Aceituno. Paul, Interpreter of History in the Letter to the Galatians. Franciscanum [online]. 2023, vol.65, n.180, pp.8-8. Epub Feb 12, 2024. ISSN 0120-1468. https://doi.org/10.21500/01201468.6193.
The paschal event of Christ was an essential moment for history for Paul. In the letter to the Galatians, we can perceive the enormous effort to construct a religious story based on the dialogue of Jewish and Hellenistic-Roman worldviews. In continuity with biblical theocentrism, God the Creator is the absolute protagonist of history and cosmos. From the christological and pragmatic novelty of his apostolate, history becomes a scenario oriented towards the participation of Christ, under the impulse of the Holy Spirit, which is visible in the small Christian Churches.
