Abstract
CARMONA, Federico Édgar Guizado and MARTINEZ, Alejandro Cruzata. Diagnosis of the Use of Information and Communication Technologies in the Process of Teaching-Learning Electronics in the Field of Education for Work in High Schools. Rev. Fac. Cienc. Tecnol. [online]. 2017, n.41, pp.129-148. ISSN 0121-3814.
The article presents the results of a master's degree research in Education Sciences carried out at San Ignacio Loyola University. The purpose is to diagnose the current state of the use of ICT in the process of teaching-learning electronics at the Republic of Colombia Educational Institution in Lima, Peru.
We used the qualitative approach applied to education. The categories were the process for teaching-learning electronics and the implementation of information and communication technologies (ICT) in education. The population consisted of thirteen seventh-grade students from the Regular Basic Education cycle and three teachers from the Electronics specialty, who were selected through the purposive, non-probability sampling technique and who participated in individual interviews, focus groups and check sheets for observation of lessons.
Results show that teachers use methodological strategies without implementing ICT as an educational resource to support the development and evaluation of labor skills. Students are motivated to use technological resources during the learning sessions. The paper proposes a modular learning project consisting of systematic steps to contribute to improve the development and evaluation of the labor skills in electronic audio systems of junior high-school students, using a computer simulator called NI Multisim, which implements virtual laboratories for teaching electronics.
