Abstract
BAHAMONDE, Nora; CREMER, Maria Cecilia; MUT, Paula Natalia and LOZANO, Eduardo. The Development of a Disciplinary Line for the Teaching of the Arterial Pressure Model in Teacher Training in Biology. Rev. Fac. Cienc. Tecnol. [online]. 2020, n.47, pp.143-159. ISSN 0121-3814. https://doi.org/10.17227/ted.num47-7920.
In this article, we present the theoretical fundament and results of the research based on the design, implementation and evaluation of a didactic unit for the modeling of the Arterial Pressure (AR) phenomenon and its regulation, in the Human Biology subject of middle and upper level teaching staff in biology. The unit was structured from the approach of a socio-scientific fact and integrated disciplinary contents of Biology, linked to the AR and the mechanisms for its regulation, with me-ta-scientific contents, which facilitated the reflection on the part of the students on certain aspects of science. In this paper, we present the analysis of the data in the biological disciplinary line that has led to a characterization of the initial models of the students, the intermediate models, the arrival models and their application. This analysis allows us to state that the modeling process carried out by the students reflects a complexity based on the implementation of the designed sequence of activities. Thus, from initially simple models and anchored in the level of cellular organization, they were incorporating new and more complex relationships during the implementation of the proposed activities, new and more complex relationships, which favored the construction of models with a systemic vision of the AR phenomenon and its regulation.
