Abstract
JUNIOR, João Ferreira Sobrinho and MORAES, Cristina de Cássia Pereira. Teaching in Dialogue With New Times: Mobility, Ubiquity and Education. Rev. Fac. Cienc. Tecnol. [online]. 2022, n.52, pp.345-360. Epub Jan 31, 2023. ISSN 0121-3814. https://doi.org/10.17227/ted.num52-13916.
This article aims to identify indicative predictions of the teaching modalities that are envisioned in the future progressively interconnected to digital technologies. In order to respond to this scenario, documentary and bibliographic research weres used, based on scientific articles, books, and official documents for the survey, data collection, and qualitative data analysis. As a result of the research, we identified that u-Learning is a teaching model that tends to consolidate in the future, standing out from the concepts of context-sensitivity based on sensorial and geolocalization technologies. Its consolidation is glimpsed by the modern intention of teaching mediated by digital technologies that converge under three aspects: individualization of content, mobility, and ubiquity of information. We conclude that the advance and importance of digital technologies today corroborate the dissemination of their use in various fields of human activity, such as education. And so, it is necessary that teaching is always in dialogue with the new times.
