Abstract

This article presents results of a research Project called: "Determinant factors of enterprise activity in professional female entrepreneurs in Bogotá, Medellín y Cali", 10 semi-structured interviews were made in the three cities studied. One of the emerging categories relates to conceptions and practices on social responsibility used by female entrepreneurs. The results show that the main issue is the impact that each activity generates, with the purpose of improving life quality and conditions of every actor that the enterprise has relation with. Additionally, when analyzing the speech of interviewed women it is evident once again the divorce among enterprise social responsibility (ESR) concept develop in academic scenarios and the concept built by entrepreneurs.
