Abstract

LOPEZ, PAULA ANDREA  and  MARINO AREVALO, ANDRÉS. TURNING TO BUSINESS MANAGEMENT TO THE MANAGEMENT OF ORGANIZATIONS: THE EVOLUTION OF THE KNOWLEDGE OF THE MANAGEMENT DISCIPLINE. Rev.fac.cienc.econ. [online]. 2010, vol.18, n.2, pp.75-93. ISSN 0121-6805.

This article reflects on the current conditions of administrative discipline, as well as the challenges it faces in order to respond to developments in recent years has had. In that sense, it is necessary to overcome the vision focused on Business Administration and focus in the discussion on the Management of Organizations, which inevitably involves a step of the mechanistic view, the prevailing reductionist and linear, toward an integrative approach to discipline under paradigm of complexity.

Keywords : Administrative discipline; Administration; Management; Organizations; Complexity.
