The central aim of this article is to present the results of the research: Globalization of law and justice reform: Transference rules and transformation of the State in Colombia : 1992- 2005. The paper presents the relationship between globalization processes in the field of law, legislative output, and transformation of the state in Colombia during the period under study, as a process of adaptation to global flows. The first part sets out succinctly the frames of reference of the investigation, emphasizing the theoretical cross pollination that allowed the interdisciplinary integration of law, studies of contemporary political theory, and contributions from international relations over the problem of globalization. The second part explains the methodological design of the research, emphasizing the tools used to analyze the legislative output of the country. Finally, as a conclusion, the paper presents the results of the research and the possible scenarios for future research on the topic in the Colombian context.
