Abstract This document, exposes some remarks on the rene urueña's recent paper entitled: "Luchas locales, cortes internacionales: una exploración de la protección multinivel de los derechos humanos en América Latina". After supporting the author's proposal, this paper clarifies how the multilevel protection's model in Latin America is built and what is its scope. Once this has been clarified, this article points out the idea that such structure should be read from the perspective of multilevel constitutionalism and, therefore, on the light of the constitutional pluralism.
