Abstract
DAVID NIETO, Fabio. Discrimination and wage differentials in the labor market. Rev.econ.inst. [online]. 2016, vol.18, n.34, pp.115-134. ISSN 0124-5996. https://doi.org/10.18601/01245996.v18n34.08.
This paper presents a model of wage determination in the labormarket using replicator dynamics to characterize the behavior ofsocial regularities created by the employers'discrimination preferences. The basic hypothesis of this article suggests that preferences of the employers are subject to the inherent social dynamics of interaction between labor supply and demand in a full employment scenario. This is a theoretical contribution to the discussion about wage discrimination, a subject in which empirical studies on wagedifferences prevail.
