Abstract

PATINO-ALZATE, Bibiana  and  SALAZAR-HERNANDEZ, César Augusto. Road infrastructure projects and territorial integration. 4G roads in the sub-regions, post-conflict scenarios in Antioquia. Bitácora Urbano Territorial [online]. 2016, vol.26, n.2, pp.79-86. ISSN 0124-7913.  https://doi.org/10.15446/bitacora.v26n2.57431.

Since the launch of modernization projects for road infrastructure in Colombia the following concern arises: What kind of issues may come up in those Antioquia sub-regions distinguished by the low access to opportunities, also involved in the struggle for territorial power with the carry out of the"Prosperity Roads"? The research development ensures the confirmation of the hypothesis that investment in road infrastructure is a structural factor towards the development of territories which show meaningful social, economic and institutional gaps directly involved with the armed conflict.

Keywords : territorial prospectus; development potential; spatial analysis; change factors; change management.
