Social and community leadership in the territory of Urabá, Colombia, has been a historical expression of resistance and construction of sociability over time. The research seeks to understand who the leaders of the CORDUPAZ territory are, which leads them to devote part of their lives to work with and for the community, and to recognize the contributions they have made both at local and regional levels. Thus, this article constitutes an input, which allows to continue vindicating their work in the midst of armed conflict scenarios, violence, and threats against their lives.
