Abstract

This paper presents a qualitative analysis of the presence of Media Education in the curricular designs of secondary level of the province of Buenos Aires. The method used was the analysis of socio-educational discourse. Among the results, identifies the Media Education as a cross-sectional content of Secondary Education and recognized four reasons for inclusion: To motivate learning, to train citizens in these forms communication, understand them in both requirement for democratic citizenship and learn to produce media contents. Vacates a study that focuses on the proposals which have as their object the processes of construction of knowledge spreads that enable the various communications technologies.
