The evolution of environment health in colombian law commences with the enactment of the National Sanitary Code. However, environmental health issues became aftewards fragmented and scattered into the different national and regional sanitary institutions. This document aims to describe the historical evolution and jurisprudence of environmental health in Colombia. Moreover, this article proposes to apply legal pluralism so as to allow new approaches for environmental health.
