At the national and international level, the imminent health, social, cultural, and economic crises generated by the (covid-19) virus also affects the various spheres of the arts. However, the persistence of the visual arts on the Internet, demonstrate the importance of technological devices being used for the iconographic digitization and virtualization of aesthetic experiences based on the development of digital art. From this perspective, this reflective article explores the concept of visual-digital culture, the beginnings of computer-generated art, the use of the internet as a means of pictorial dissemination, the development of digital proposals, that reinforce in artists and in university students the need to learn to create, interact, and express themselves symbolically in the context of arts education.
