Abstract
ARTEAGA-QUICO, Alisson Diane and WONG-PORTILLO, Lenis Rossi. Framework for monitoring the temperature of aquaculture crops based on IoT. Dyna rev.fac.nac.minas [online]. 2021, vol.88, n.218, pp.239-246. Epub Mar 29, 2022. ISSN 0012-7353. https://doi.org/10.15446/dyna.v88n218.90626.
One of the current concerns in aquaculture is the management of the rearing environment, given the impact it has on the culture at production level, on the environment due to uncontrolled waste, and on food safety. This concern is increasing due to the escalation of the activity in recent years, which generates a high demand for food. Currently many of the aquaculture processes are performed manually, which is costly both in terms of time and resources. Based on the use of technology, this research proposes a complete, configurable, scalable and low-cost framework for real-time temperature monitoring using IoT, in order to optimise the collection time and analysis of the state of the crop, thereby providing support for decision making before the crop is affected.
