The construction sector projects contribute to the economic growth of the country, however, planning and follow-up become a critical problem presenting economic losses. Housing construction projects grow through public or private investment, solving the demand for housing, involving various economic, social, labor and managerial aspects. The leading managers of this type of projects are civil engineers with technical experience who usually do not know the principles of management and administration, which allow the correct execution. This article presents the design process of a game to teach project management in housing construction, through a mixed methodology with qualitative and quantitative aspects taking different references, starting with the theoretical support that presents concepts associated with projects and the importance of teaching and reinforcing concepts by implementing serious games, allowing the design of a new tool for teaching project management applicable in academic and professional environments.
