A descriptive approach was used, with a non-experimental, cross-sectional design. A population of 1,195 teachers at several on-site universities in Valledupar (Colombia) was considered, and 209 ultimately were chosen through sectored, simple random sampling. A questionnaire with a Likert scale was used to collect the data. The results show that teachers who have knowledge of entrepreneurship are facilitators and communicators. An ability to learn, adaptability and empathy are their character traits. They are responsible, respectful, motivating and innovative, but intolerant.
