Abstract
PATINO BARRAGAN, Martha Jeaneth and PENA COLLAZOS, Wilmar Aníbal. Nation, war, and narrative: The construction of the imaginary from thenecessary negativity of violence. Three elements to think about Colombia based on Fernando Soto Aparicio’s work. Ágora U.S.B. [online]. 2020, vol.20, n.1, pp.246-258. ISSN 1657-8031. https://doi.org/10.21500/16578031.4056.
In Fernando Soto Aparicio’s work, Journey to the Clarity (Viaje a la Claridad), three elements of indisputable importance appear to understand the way the characters deal with their status as a victim, with power, and with forgiveness as hope. These elements are part of the construction of a nation, plunged into a long, real and imaginary war, which ignores, hides, and removes the cultural narrative.
