Abstract

This article aims to determine the importance of communication, non-verbal language, and cultural awareness in preparing peace support operations and military training. To this end, it analyzes communicative competencies and their importance in these operations, as well as interculturality and nonverbal communication, discussing the elements involved in the nonverbal language in detail. Finally, it concludes that training and awareness on the correct use of communication and nonverbal language that considers interculturality is essential in effectively developing a peace support operation.
