A state of the art is elaborated on the relationship of the Pleiades with the agrarian and ritual calendar of the Incas. For this, a literature review was carried out, consulting 86 scientific documents stored in different databases. As a result, it was found that there are two positions regarding the Inca calendar: the first approach corresponds to a sidereal lunar calendar based on the Pleiades, which was developed in depth by Tom Zuidema through his thesis on the ceque-quipu system; and the second approach would be a luni-solar calendar, which was possibly synchronized through sidereal observations, especially using the Pleiades.
