L’Espagne est actuellement le principal destin d’immigration des latino-américains. L’auteur de cet article décrit les caractéristiques du marché de l’emploi pour la population immigrante en Espagne, dans une étude de cas de la ville d’Alcalá de Henares. Il cherche donc à déterminer les éléments de cette situation et aborde certains aspects des conditions de travail de ce collectif. Théoriquement il considère au départ l’existence d’une structure inégale d’opportunités qui entraîne le cheminement de l’emploi immigrant à travers des segments déterminés du marché de l’emploi.
